Here is a great craft for your kids who love their “That’s not my Plane” book. My little one loves it and enjoyed making these from wooden pegs.
That’s Not My Plane
This is my little boy’s favourite in the “That’s not my….” series so we made these planes to go along with it.
You will need: 1 wooden peg, 3 paddlepop sticks, PVA glue, scissors and some felt pens or paints.
Instructions: Paint or colouring in with felt pen 1 wooden peg and 3 paddlepop sticks.
Once dry, glue one paddlepop stick to the top and bottom of the peg as the wings. Then cut the remaining paddlepop stick in half and glue this on as the tail. Trim a small piece from the remainder of the paddlepop stick to form a small fin at the back. In terms of designs for your plane, the options are endless. Add striped markings, stars, initials, flags you name it..
