Something’s Fishy About This Craft…

One, Two, Three, Four, Five..
Once I caught a fish alive,
Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten..
Then I let it go again!

There are some really cool children’s books about Fish. Here is a simple fish craft you can do with your kiddos to link in with these AND the best bit is, it doesn’t require a lot of supplies.

You will need:
paper plate
scissors
stapler
pen
Optional: coloured pencils / stickers / googly eyes / ribbon

Step One
Mark out on your paper plate a “V” this will be the mouth. Cut this out and keep it.

Step Two
Use the cut out of the mouth to form the tail. Staple it on to the back of the fish.

Step Three
Either draw or glue on an eye for your fish.

Step Four
It’s time to decorate your fish! You can go as simple or elaborate as you like.

Well, in terms of craft, it doesn’t come any simpler than this one! It is a good one to remember if you have some spare time to fill.

Enjoy!
