I never think that I have enough space in my home … especially for all the junk that having 3 kids seems to bring. I spent an hour on the internet today looking for ways to make more space and here are some of the ingenious ideas that I found. Most of them I can’t do but I marvelled at how creative some people are.
Flexible Spaces
This group were ideas for using the 1 space in more than 1 way.
This lounge room converts to a bedroom when a queen bed suite lowers from the roof to sit on top of the lounge area … amazing! I realise this is more of a dream than a reality.
IKEA too have been working on ideas to move walls and cleverly conceal office spaces. This one wall moves to allow the room to be used as a bedroom, lounge and office.
Clever Storage
Under stairs storage is an excellent idea. I kind of have a storage under our stairs but its a big dark cupboard that I can never find anything in especially by the end of school term haha ….. I need these drawers!
This one looks more achievable for me … a simple fold down workspace where all my chargers and daily work supplies can live. This could even work in a kids bedroom for a homework station.
