Honey Joys For Harmony Day

0

This year, Harmony Day in Australia is on Tuesday 21 March. The theme for Harmony Day is “Everyone Belongs” and orange is the colour chosen to represent the day.

Here is the recipe for an old favourite…Honey Joys, that just happens to tie in nicely with the orange theme…

You will need:
90g margarine or butter
1/3 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of honey
4 cups of Corn Flakes
12 patty cake liners

Step One
Preheat oven to 150°C and line 12-hole patty pan with cases.

Step Two
Melt the margarine, honey & sugar together in a saucepan until frothy.

Step Three
Add Corn Flakes & mix well.

Step Four
Work quickly to spoon into paper cases and bake in oven for 10 minutes.

Step Five
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

These would make a great afternoon tea treat for the kids for Harmony Day!
