I just want to say these are really brave parents for releasing this video as I am sure they are going to get a lot of hate and judgement from people. If you have not seen this already it has been all over the internet today. Essentially two toddler twins were playing in their bedroom together when a CCTV camera captured them climbing on their chest of draws. It didn’t take long for the draws to topple on them trapping one of the twins underneath.
As you can see from the video the other twin is somewhat aware that the brother is under the draws but it does take him a while to move the draws which is pretty amazing for a little kid.
I have personally been aware of the danger of chest of draws to small children for a long time but I will be the first to admit that most of ours are not secured to the walls. The parents have released this video to warn parents of this danger to make sure this doesn’t happen to another family resulting in a much worse outcome than this particular story.
