Some days I wish I was one of those Pinterest mums who loves doing crafty things with my kids and making stuff from scratch haha.
Most attempts I have made trying to do creative DIY stuff with my kids has ended a little cray cray.
On occasion I do muster up the courage to tackle some DIY stuff with the kidlets but most of the time I am just looking for activity hacks and this one below is one of my favs 🙂
My kids are ALWAYS asking to paint. There was a time when I heard the word PAINT I would shudder in fear of what was likely to unfold but alas I have solved this problem with the ONE INGREDIENT PAINT.
All you need to do is pop down to your local cheap shop … purchase a $2 watercolour paint tray (make sure you get one with 2 brushes if there are 2 kids lol).
Bring it home … get a paint / splat mat (pictured below) … some paper … some water in a cup …. set them up either inside or outside on the mat and AWAY THEY GO.
Both of my girls feel like it is legit painting hahaha AND IT IS. I often say sure … yes … you can paint and it takes me 2 minutes to setup …. cost me $2 … washes out of their clothes … is non toxic and keeps them entertained for a while!!!
WINNING!!!!!!!!!!
