It’s time to put the FUN back into fundraising!
From your wonderful responses to our question on our facebook page, we have compiled the top 10 fundraising ideas.
5c piece challenge
Each classroom has a jar for 5c pieces. The class with the most 5c pieces at the end of term wins a pizza party.
This has proven to raise a lot of funds for schools as nobody wants their 5c pieces!
Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough
Bake fresh gourmet cookies, biscuits & pastries every time and anytime at home. No mess and the kids will love being involved. Simply scoop, bake & serve.

All the ‘THONS’
Whether it be a walk-a-thon, spell-a-thon, swim-a-thon, read-a-thon, fact-a-thon – gather up $ pledges and get to it. Low set up fees and everyone gets involved!
Gold Coin Donation for Free Dress
What kids don’t love being able to go to school in their own clothes rather than wear their school uniform! This is a low maintenance fundraiser and is always a big success.
Ideally held on the last day of term you can also make it crazy hair or crazy sock day if you prefer.
Disco Nights
These are heaps of fun (especially for the kids!) You can also sell drinks, food, glow sticks, temporary tattoos etc. on the night.
Personalised Products
There are many different companies now that offer personalised products. You can turn your child’s artwork into practical keepsakes such as plates, mugs, aprons, teatowels etc.

Pie Drive
I love a good pie drive. Pies are great to stick in the freezer for ‘those’ nights when you’re running out of dinner ideas and/or time. A fair bit of coordinating with the orders but generally a good money maker.
Trivia Night or Bingo Night
These are oldies but goodies. They do require a fair bit of organising but prove to be good fundraisers and also provide a chance for families of the school to mingle.
Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Stalls
There are a number of companies now that sell gifts around the $5 mark. Children enjoy the freedom of choosing their own gift from the stall for their parent or carer.

The ever popular chocolate drive. These are especially good around Easter time when they have an Easter Egg selection.
