Cinderella Movie Review

I recently took my eldest daughter to see Cinderella on a mummy / daughter date and I thought it was really great!  

To be honest, before seeing it I was not sure I would love it because I thought it might be all about the boy and that is not really what I want to be filling Miss 7’s head with at this stage but there were some really great key messages in the movie I thought were valuable for my daughter so I was happy.

After the movie I spent a little time chatting with my daughter about it and how being kind and courageous will cause better things to happen to you in life than just caring about getting more things and being mean and selfish.  Because the movie made this so clear and simple I could see that she “got it” so I felt like that was a win.

I think there are some good teachable moments in there for our kids and because of that I give it the big thumbs up!!
