Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? I see a simple origami bear looking at me!
There are so many great children’s books that involve bears – Goldilocks & The Three Bears; The Very Cranky Bear; We’re Going On A Bear Hunt; The Very Itchy Bear; The Bear Snores On; The Berenstain Bears etc.
So here is a great craft to try with the kids that doesn’t involve too many materials.
You will need:
1 square piece of brown paper
2 google eyes
glue
black felt pen
Step One
Fold the square piece of paper in half diagonally.
Step Two
Fold the piece of paper in half again diagonally and then open back up.
Step Three
Take the top corner and fold it in about half way.
Step Four
AND repeat for the other top corner.
Step Five
Now fold the same corners back out again, as shown below.
Step Six
Then fold the tips of each corner down.
Step Seven
Fold one layer of the bottom corner up.
Step Eight
Turn the project over and fold the other layer of the bottom corner up – and then up again to form the mouth of the bear, as shown.
Step Nine
Glue on the google eyes and draw on the nose and mouth using the black felt pen.
