This September holidays the Brisbane City Youth Ballet is putting on their version of The Snow Queen. Given the popularity of the hit Disney animated movie Frozen this year (which was also based on Andersen’s The Snow Queen), this show is designed to be warmly received by people of all ages.
I am SUPER excited about this as Miss 6 is turning 7 during the September school holidays so we are taking her and 3 of her friends to see this as her birthday party. To say she is really excited is the understatement of the year haha
I love the fact that at just 14 years of age, Bianca Scudamore will dance the lead role of Gerda. I think this will be really inspiring for our daughters to see.
