Once a month we put together our 5 Favourite Finds that are in shops right now. They are kid-centric things from “normal” shops (not boutiques) and budget friendly. Here we go:
1. Best Teacher Ever Mug
Only $3 from Kmart and comes in a cool box as well. This would be perfect to get now and put away for either World Teachers Day (celebrated at the end of October) or as an “End of Year” teacher gift.
(The cheeky fine print says “From Your Favourite Student”!)
2. Flamingo Rashie
The coolest rashie I’ve seen this season! Available at Cotton On Kids now and only $26.95
3. Sketch Pad
My kids love to draw and sketch ideas. We found these jumbo sketch pads available in either pink or black with 60 pages at Kmart for $3. Happy Days! (Could be good to throw in the Santa sack).
4. Decorate Your Own Calico Tote Bag
My son loved colouring in his dinosaur tote bag the other night when we were out for dinner. These beauties are available at Big W in the toys section for $5. Other designs are available too.
5. TMNT Michaelangelo T-Shirt
My 4yo son literally squealed with excitement when he spotted this t-shirt last week. It is Michaelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and you can un-zipper his mouth to reveal a slice of pizza, of course! $22.95 at Cotton On Kids now.
