One Bowl Chocolate Slice

Who doesn’t love a bit of chocolate slice?? AND with this no fuss, low mess version – it’s even better!

You will need:
1 cup of self-raising flour
½ cup of brown sugar
1½ tablespoons of cocoa powder
½ cup of desiccated coconut
½ cup of melted butter
400g of sweetened condensed skim milk
3 handfuls of chocolate chips
icing sugar to dust

Method

Step One
Preheat oven to 180° C

Step Two
Line a medium sized rectangular tin with baking paper.

Step Three
In a bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cocoa, coconut, melted butter and condensed milk until combined.

Step Four
Add the chocolate chips and stir through.

Step Five
Press the mixture into the lined tray and bake for 30 minutes.

Step Six
Allow to cool.  To serve, cut into squares and dust with icing sugar.

Great for afternoon tea after School. Enjoy!
