During my recent stay to Dubai I got the absolute pleasure of being able to say at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. My initial reaction when I first found out was “fancy” haha. The reality though was I was unsure exactly how I would go in this more traditionally “business” style accommodation with a kid.
After spending a week here I now realise how wrong I was to worry as this place was super kid friendly and here are my top 12 reasons why I think that.
1: There is an ice-cream station at the buffet breakfast. YES FOLKS you heard me right an ICE-CREAM STATION. I feel like I could end it here as that says enough about how much was on offer but there is so much more awesomeness to share!!
2: There is enough room to hula hoop standing on the bed. At no time during the taking of this photo did I fear causing damage I may have to pay for haha. The space in this room was truly hugemazing!!
3: The bath is the size of a small pool and you can put a child’s floatation device in there for some daytime entertainment haha. P.s. at no time was little Ellis unsupervised but as you can see by the look on his face he was having a blast!
4: The bathroom sink and vanity is large enough to accommodate my toiletries, make up, expressing equipment and bottles to dry.
5: There is room in the bar fridge for expressed breast milk and baby food!
6: Olaf makes an appearance everyday!!
7: There is a heated kids pool. #saynomore
8: Nutella is one of the spread options for your toast at breakfast
9:There is more than enough space in the standard king room for some indoor jump jump and to rig up a hammock!
10: The bathroom mirrors are fantastic for taking a #whatamiwearing selfie!
11: The elevators tell you as soon as you press the button which elevator you will be getting into via a light and ding at the top of it. I don’t think we ever waited more than 30 seconds for an elevator which is amazing considering the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the tallest hotel in the world. YES you heard me right THE TALLEST.
12: There are 9 in house restaurants within this hotel alone making it super easy to find as least some food that your kiddos will like without it having to be an epic venture every night outside of the hotel.
