So What’s The Big Deal With Having A Holiday In Dubbo

This post was Sponsored By Visit NSW (we did not get paid to write this but they did cover the trip costs)

I recently had the chance to visit Dubbo with my 2 girls, 9 and 7, and it was surprisingly more awesome than I thought it was going to be.

Truth be told I didn’t know much about Dubbo as a Brisbane born and bread baby.  I realise I am very fortunate to get the chance to visit lots of different places around Australia to let y’all know what I think and our Dubbo trip was definitely one to put on the family “to do” list.

I often see promos for the classic big city holiday destinations and some of the regional areas get neglected in the highlights reel, but what I have discovered over the years is our regional holidays are often the most memorable.

Maybe because we go into them expecting less so are often pleasantly surprised but as I get older I am opting more and more for the unexpected and of the beaten track kind of holiday.

There are some amazing places in regional NSW to visit with your family which are really great and affordable holidays.  We made this short video below of our time in Dubbo to show you what we got up to.

I also want to let you know about a really great comp happening at the moment with Visit NSW … all you need to do is upload images and videos of your most memorable regional NSW experiences to www.visitnsw.com/ilovensw using the hashtag #ILoveNSW and you will be in with a chance to score a Canon prize pack and be featured in one of eight short films celebrating Regional NSW.

p.s Dubbo was pretty awesome!

Being a mum to 3 kids (one of them full time at home with me) and trying to juggle everything became pretty crazy.
