Should You Take Your Kids To See The Boss Baby Movie?

I clearly remember the first time we saw a preview for The Boss Baby movie was when we saw The Trolls movie.  It was funny because all both of my daughters could talk about after we saw Trolls was when The Boss Baby movie was coming out.

There is something about babies acting like grown ups that they loved.  When we were invited to the preview screening of The Boss Baby I knew my girls would be super excited … and they were.

On Sunday last week we went along to see the movie and it did not disappoint.

The premise of the movie is about a baby who wears a suit, speaks with the voice of a corporate executive, and whilst all his parents see is a wonderful new addition to the family, his older brother sees him for who he really is…a baby on a special secret mission.

If you are having a baby anytime soon and are worried about how your older child will cope then I would recommend this movie as a great conversation starter.  If you have small children siblings that fight a lot then I would also recommend this movie as a conversation starter.

It was funny, clever and cute.  Both my 9 and 7 year old daughters said they really liked it.  We took our 2 1/2 year old son also who stayed engaged for 3/4 of the movie which was pretty good for him.  Hubby came along too and he spoke highly of this movie compared to other kid’s movies he had seen.  He admitted he even enjoyed it … that may have something to do with the fact that Alec Baldwin was the voice of the boss baby which was very entertaining.

I didn’t think there was anything inappropriate or scary about this movie and would recommend it for children 3 and up.  I think older kids would enjoy it also so a great movie for the whole family.

Being a mum to 3 kids (one of them full time at home with me) and trying to juggle everything became pretty crazy.
